The Plan
I met a new local friend in the Regenerative space. We were talking about getting investors for Eco-Developments, and he mentioned that you really just need a solid plan to capture investors. And while I’ve had my plan rolling around in my head, and coming out in little bits at a time, I had yet to tie it all together for everyone else to see.
So, this post will be outlining “The Plan” — for me and my family over the coming years. I’m sure we’ll run into obstacles, and likely have to course correct here and there. But I’m putting this out there as a way to keep myself accountable, manifest, document, and potentially find support.
Before I get into the details, allow me to introduce you to my family.
(from left to right)
Jessica enjoys Archery, Aerial Acrobatics, Reading, and Drawing. She aspires to be a Paranormal Activity Investigator.
My wife, Victoria, loves to love, and her radiance overflows into all sorts of beauty in the world around her. She is an Author, Self-Protection Advocate, Chef, Photographer, and general Creative. We signed up to chase dreams together, and I have her full support.
Gabriel is interested in Architecture, Reading, and Parkour. He dreams of building big things, and then being able to jump from one to the other.
I (Jacob) am a Father, Husband, and BioHarmonic Architect. I do my best to wake up every day and help restore the balance and heal wounds between people, nature, and technology.
Iris loves Art, Dancing, and Singing. She wants to love everyone, have fun, and eat all the sweet things.
Ewan is curious about Science, Math, and Reading. He wants to live in a Solar-Powered RV and help build Regenerative Energy systems.
Winter
Over the next few months, while winter is here, we are preparing to move out to the Domestead. We will be buying only essentials like food and medicine, paying off debts, saving money for Domesteading supplies, and moving many of our material possessions to community spaces. We have been doing this gradually for a while, but now I am impatient and ready to move out of our resource-sucking grid-locked rental house.
Spring
In the early Spring, as nature begins to thaw and it won’t require so much energy to stay warm, I plan on moving my family out to the Domestead. We will work on getting everyone a comfy place to sleep, start building up the OffGrid Spa Dome, and planting our food forest. All the while, stepping up our YouTube channel, aspiring to be a SolarPunk version of Tiny Shiny Home.
OpenSource Projects
As we document our Domesteading experiments, there will be days when the weather is not so nice. On those days, I want to be working on the OpenSource Projects that will catalyze the creation of a Network of Regenerative Neighborhoods.

Years to Come
Once our Domestead is meeting our basic needs and the Regenerative Software is well underway, I will be using the lessons and products of both to start building a network of Regenerative Communities in my BioRegion. This starts with the Ozarks BioRegional EcoCenter and spreads to sister villages.
I Am Scared
I know that this is what I’m supposed to be doing. I have been receiving parts of this vision for years now. But I have to be honest, I am struggling with the fear of not being able to support my family in the transition phase. I know that the long-term plan will provide very well for my family — an established Domestead and the EcoVillages will be full of abundance. But I have been relying on Software work for Capitalist companies as a means of supporting my family for over a decade. It is difficult to monetize OpenSource development, and the current system favors work that extorts rather than regenerates. So I will be keeping my contract work in my back pocket to make sure my family has their basic needs taken care of, and to buy materials to build up the Domestead. But the more support I can find for regenerative work, the less I will need to rely on that.
How You can Help
I am going to pursue these goals whether I find support or not. But if you like what I am building towards and want to help it come true faster, here are some ways you can help.
Subscriptions, likes, and shares: If you like what we’re doing, please show the algorithms so that it will spread through he internet and help us make connections. Substack, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok
Networking / Connections / Information: Radical Collaboration is the only way we can get Regenerative Projects done while the rest of the world operates on Capitalism. If you have advice, people or projects that I should connect with, anything you think would be useful — I am listening. You can reach out to me on any of the platforms above. You can also email me at contact@bioharmony.info
Physical Materials: SolarPunk Architecture experiments require some materials. Here is what we need for now.
Monetary Support: We are currently set up to accept monetary support here on Substack, on GoFundMe, and on GitHub Sponsors.
Referral Purchases: If you happen to buy EkoDome or GoSun products for your own dome-building off-grid journey, you can use this EkoDome link, and code “AMBAJF” for GoSun products. That will give you a little discount and us a little kickback to help with supplies and materials.
Thank you for reading. I hope that sharing our plan might inspire others to do similar things, or introduce ideas you may not have considered yet. I will be using the various social media channels as well as Substack to provide updates on our journey. We would love to have you along for the ride on whichever platform suits you.
Here’s to a Regenerative 2024!
